After Josh got his engine back from the track officials the week before, Josh qualifed 9th, and won his heat race. As Ricky Bilderback cruised to his fifth straight feature win. Josh finished in 3rd right behind George Bohn. with the 3rd place finish, this was kj motorsports 7th top 5 finishes in a row for 2006.

Bilderback started eighth with Chad Misslich and Ryan Carlson leading the field to the green flag. Misslich would grab the early lead. The only caution flew on lap 7 when Bill Hobson spun going into turn one. Kevin Ramey had no where to go and was collected in the wreck. Misslich continued to lead until the halfway mark where he developed a miss in his engine and relinquished the lead to Jerry Gille. Bilderback moved into the second spot. With 10 laps to go, Bilderback got on the inside of Gille and took over the top spot. Bilderback would go on to take his fourth straight feature win with Gille taking second. John Reynolds Jr. barely beat Bob Kahler at the line to come home third. Josh Nelms coming from 6th row outside rounded out the top five. After the race Josh's and Bilderback's were pulled to have the engines dynoed to make sure they were not tampered with. Both engines passed tech and will be out this weekend. Thanks to the whole crew for working twice as hard to get the engine out and back in this week.
