After coming off his 3rd feature win in a row the team was on a
roll. The team opted to purchase just one tire for the night and
see what happened. They knew the car would qualify slow but
would drive well.
Josh qualified 3rd with a 21.092.
In the heat Josh started 4th, and worked his way up and took the
lead and went on to win the heat race his 3rd in row.
The feature Josh started 4th row inside and worked his way up
into the second position and had to run down the leader. Josh
cut a 15 car deficit down to 2 cars when the caution came out.
After the caution the car went to the loose side and lost ground
on the leader. Another caution flew late in the race, and Josh
gave it everything he had and stayed with leader and finished a
close second.
