July 21st- Looking to rebound from the week before frustrations, Josh and crew were ready. With some big changes to the chassis Josh was second quick in practice. In qualifying, Josh was 4th quick with a 19.935. The heat race proved to the team that Josh had a good car for the night as he charged from his 3rd row starting spot and was running down the leader and not getting any pressure from behind to finish 2nd. Once again he started 3rd row and quickly started moving to the front and by lap 5 was in 3rd. On lap 11 Josh mad a move to take over 2nd and set his sights on the leader. On lap 17 Josh had caught the leader and was making a move to the onside when the caution came out. On the restart Josh tried to keep up, but with the lack of horsepower slid back to 4th. He fought hard and finished 4th .947 seconds behind the leader.

July 14th- This Saturday proved to be a day of frustration for the KJ Motorsports team. Josh went out in the first practice and was turning his quickest practice times of the year on an old set of tires. When they bolted up the used set from the week before and went out the car became a handful to drive and Josh wasn't happy. He managed to pull his fastest qualifying effort of the year with a 19.83 good for 4th quick. The heat race had Josh second row inside but the car still wasn't reacting the way he needed it to be and he hung in there for a 3rd place finish. The feature ran caution free and Josh fighting a tight a racecar hung in there for a 7th place finish. All in all it was a good night, despite our worst finish of the year, we will be back strong again next week.
