The day started out great with Josh turning fast time with a 20.940 the only car in the 20 second bracket.

In the heat Josh started outside 3rd row and worked his way to the front and passed the 5 car on the inside cleanly, I stress cleanly. The next lap the 5 car hit Josh going into turn 3 and Josh did a remarkable job saving the car from wrecking. The next lap as Josh took the white flag running the outside the 5 car deliberately spun Josh and put Josh head on into the wall. The car was damaged badly. Josh was towed off the track and the crew surveyed the damage. Many other teams came down and began to help and worked for the next hour and a half putting the car back together. The car looked like it wasn't even wrecked for the feature.

Josh started 5th row outside and rode around for 5 laps to make sure everything was ok and then began to charge to the front. By lap 17 Josh was up to second battling for the lead. The 33 car began to leak fluids in front of Josh. Josh was sliding through the turns and hit the front stretch wall trying to hang on. On lap 21 Josh went to the outside and took the lead and went on to win the feature. Josh wants to thank Bill and Tommy from Bill's Speed Shop, John Nutley and his crew, Mike, Richie, Kevin McCann, Tom, Kevin Ramey and his crew.

It was an amazing sight to see everybody pull together and help us get back out and win the feature.
